Conflict of Interest Management Policy

  1. Guidelines

Formations Thierry Supplie has a policy for managing real, perceived or potential conflicts of interest in order to prevent and avoid the presence of commercial bias during the training activities it provides.

To do so, this policy is based on the quality of care and the well-being of patients must take precedence over any attempt to influence or interfere that could alter the therapeutic relationship or the integrity of the professional.

We consider that a funder of a training activity for health professionals must not directly or indirectly influence the content of a training activity under any consideration.

This policy is based on the principles of transparency, independence, objectivity, balance, scientific rigour and accountability.

  1. Definition of links of interest

The notion of link of interest covers the interests or activities, past or present, of a patrimonial, professional or family nature, of the person in relation to the object of the mission entrusted to him.

  1. Preventing ties of interest

The prevention of links of interest is carried out on the basis of their declaration and in full transparency to the participants in vocational training actions.

Declaration :

In order to prevent real, perceived or potential links of interest, the designers and participants in actions for health professionals are asked to declare each year their possible links of interest and their nature:

  • · Main activity
  • Secondary activities: Participation in a decision-making body of a public or private organization whose activity, techniques or products fall within the field of competence of the body or collegial body subject of the declaration, scientific work or studies, consultant, articles, congresses, etc.

  • Activities that have received funding from a profit-making organisation whose corporate purpose falls within the scope of the organisation subject to the declaration
  • Financial interests in the capital of a company
  • Existence of close relatives who are employees or have financial interests in any structure whose corporate purpose falls within the scope of the body subject to the declaration
  • Other links of interest that the registrant chooses to make known.

Transparency :

  • This management policy for the prevention and management of conflicts of interest is included in the catalogue of continuing education actions proposed by the company Formations Thierry Supplie and can be downloaded online from our website,
  • Any additional information on this policy for the prevention and management of conflicts of interest can be obtained from the Continuing Education / Healthcare Professionals Referent, Mr SUPPLIE Thierry, identified in the same catalogue.
  1. Conflict of interest analysis

Upon receipt of the Declaration of Interests forms, our organization analyzes them to determine the presence or absence of any links of interest.

Depending on the type of link encountered and the role of the person or organization involved, the analysis covers the following elements:

Evaluation of the intensity of the relationship :

  1. great danger :
  • Links of major interest :
  • Creates a presumption of conflict of interest
  1. lower risk:
  • Other links of interest :
  • Presumption or absence of links of interest.

The assessment of the intensity of the link will take into account elements such as the frequency of the relationship, the amount of financial benefits, the position of control or influence in a commercial undertaking, the length of the relationship and its durability, etc. The assessment of the intensity of the link will take into account elements such as the frequency of the relationship, the amount of financial benefits, the position of control or influence in a commercial undertaking, the length of the relationship and its durability, etc.

Foreseeable impacts :

  • For the content
  • For participants
  • For patients
  • For the organization

The assessment of foreseeable impacts will take into consideration such elements asThe extent of collaboration,

Influence on content development and recommendations,

Dissemination to health professionals,

Direct or indirect consequences for patients,

Accountability and perceptions in relation to the organization.

  1. Managing links of interest

Once the analysis is completed, the situation is managed according to four possibilities :

  1. LLinks of real interest
  2. Links of potential interest
  3. Interest income links
  4. Absent links of interest

The purpose of this management is to prevent or avoid any attempt to influence or interfere in any way that could alter the professional integrity of the designer and/or intervening party.

The course of action to be taken is established according to the type of link, the source of the link, its intensity, and its consequences.

  • Changing the content
  • Presentation of evidence supporting content
  • Presentation to participants of the recognized potential linkage to enable them to evaluate the concepts presented in light of this information.
  • Withdrawal of part of the course content or its cancellation
  • Any other actions deemed appropriate

Following the implementation of the professional reform on 1 January 2019, within the framework of the "Law for the Freedom to Choose One's Professional Future of 5 September 2018", the financing mechanisms and methods are changing.

How to finance vocational training from 2019 onwards?

Good to know: you can still mobilize your old DIF hours until December 31, 2020. To do so, go to to report your hours on your CPF.

  • CPF*(Personal Training Account)

From your first job to your retirement you accumulate euros in yourCPF account so that you can train at any time. However, it is not credited during your period of unemployment. You cannot have a CPF if you have never had a job.

The first step to take is to open a CPF account online on the website and then find an eligible training program.

For the financing and preparation of your training file, you can be accompanied by your employment counsellor, your CEP (career development counsellor) or the QRP team.

If you do not have enough euros on your CPF account, you can then put together a file with your employment advisor to benefit from additional aid from theRFPE (Rémunération des Formations de Pôle Emploi), which includes the AFPR, POE, AFC and the AIF.

  • AIF (Aide Individuelle à la Formation)

Individual training aid (AIF) enables you to obtain financial aid from Pôle Emploi for training not covered by other collective or individual funding schemes. The AIF from Pôle Emploi can be used to supplement an insufficient CPF account and aid from local authorities or OPCO's. More information on the site pôle emploi

  • AFPR (Action de Formation Préalable au Recrutement - Pre-recruitment Training Action)

Applies to job offers on which the following mention appears: "Action de Formation Préalable au Recrutement". The AFPR is designed to bridge the gap between the skills you possess and those required for the job you are applying for. More information on the website job centre for individual assistance

  • POEI (Operational Readiness for Individual Employment)

The individual POE allows you to take training to acquire the skills needed for an offer filed by a company with Pôle Emploi. The training is individualized and adapted to your profile. At the end of this training and if you reach the required level, the employer is obliged to hire you. More information on the website pôle emploi

  • Training Cheque

This individual aid from the Regional Council allows you to follow a professional training course leading to a diploma or a professional title registered in the Répertoire national des certifications (RNCP) or eligible for the Compte personnel de formation (CPF). The training courses are covered up to 100% and within the limits of ceilings depending on the course. The training project must be validated by your CEP (career counsellor).

  • CPF *(Personal Training Account)

As an employee, you accumulate 500€ on yourCPF each year for a full-time job, with a ceiling of 5000€. If you are an unqualified employee, you accumulate €800 on your CPF each year with a ceiling of €8000.

  1. On working time: Requires the agreement of your employer. If you wish to follow a training course of less than 6 months, you must send your request at least 60 days in advance, if more than 6 months, 120 days in advance. The employer has 30 days to give you an answer, in case of absence, the application is accepted by default.
  2. Outside of working hours, what steps to take: There is no need for the employer's agreement, you must find a CPF-eligible training course, make a written request to your employer or to the company's Human Resources department. If you are not fully covered because you do not have enough money on your CPF, there are possibilities of making a matching contribution. To help you in your efforts, you can ask your employer or the company's Human Resources department CEP (career counsellor).

  • Career Transition CPF (The new CIF)

The CPF de transition professionnelle is a special mobilization of the CPF offering the possibility to employees to carry out a professional transition project in order to follow training to retrain on their own initiative. It is granted by the employer and the employee is paid for the duration of the training. The professional transition CPF is independent of the company's skills development plan and may concern a training area different from the professional sector of activity.

The law provides for the replacement of the CIF by the transitional CPF on 1 January 2019. However, if your application for an ITC is accepted before that date, your training will be fully funded as long as it begins before March 29, 2019.

Each company must ensure that its employees are trained for their jobs and that their skills are maintained and developed within the company. In order to fulfil this mission, the employer must offer them training as part of the company's skills development plan. Ask your human resources department for more information.

  • CPF *(Personal Training Account)

The accounts of self-employed workers (self-employed workers, freelancers, craftsmen, tradesmen, micro-entrepreneurs, liberal professions, collaborating spouses) will be supplied in 2020 under the activities of 2018 and 2019. The CPF will be funded subject to the actual payment of the vocational training contribution (CFP).

  • FIF PL (Fonds Interprofessionnel de Formation des Professionnels Libéraux - Interprofessional Training Fund for Liberal Professionals)

Check your eligibility and available ceilings link here.... Training courses on good practices offered by QRP can be partially reimbursed through this scheme.

The key to providing good dental care is the ability to communicate with patients from all walks of life. An understanding of social issues is therefore an important part of the Denturist curriculum.

The teaching of human pathology provides students with a general overview of the manifestation of human diseases and disorders as well as an understanding of the diagnostic services used in screening and treatment. By providing a foundation in this subject for future denturists, they will be prepared to communicate effectively with physicians and dentists to ensure the best patient care.

Accreditation & Affiliations

Our training courses and those of all private training institutes in our field are not (yet) recognised by the public authorities in France.

Our establishment has - as a continuing vocational training organisation - a declaration number with the DIRECCTE.

Our certifications

S.A.S. Formations Thierry Supplie is a professional training organisation (under the Ministry of Labour). This means that, as such, it is subject to the same rules as each "vocational training provider" organization and to the control of the vocational training services of the Ministry of Labour.

It cannot therefore provide "initial training", which is normally sanctioned by a "diploma" (under the authority of the Ministry of National Education).

Insofar as the disciplines taught in our training organisation are not (yet) "recognised" by the public authorities (Education Code for the content and Health Code for the professional practice) due to the legal vacuum (read: absence of legislation - or transposition into French legislation of the existing European Directives) in these fields of teaching and activity), our training centre, cannot deliver "diplomas" (understood here by State Diplomas), nor any "private diplomas", which do not comply with the legislation, only the Denturits' diploma recognised by the I.F.D. will be awarded as an international diploma.

The Training Company therefore logically offers training courses leading to a certificate, a certificate in addition to the international diploma.

  • The rigour of its pedagogical and scientific choices,
  • The intellectual positions it puts forward regarding its therapeutic and preventive choices on current and crucial health issues,
  • the cutting-edge medical work of our teachers
  • The quality of its teachers

♦ The DENTURIST Diploma applies to the training of our establishment (675 hours over 3 years).
In addition, he or she will be able to take advantage of one or more professional internships in an external structure.

Our study evaluation process

For weekend and weekday courses, we evaluate the level of our students on an ongoing basis. We thus organise exams (MCQ) to validate each module and an editorial dissertation of at least 35/40 pages and an oral presentation before a jury.

Examinations are held annually in mid-September and mid-December (make-up) and lead to eligibility for the final examination (oral before a jury). Details are provided in the Rules of Procedure (in the appendix).

A methodological sheet is provided to all registered students requiring an end-of-study thesis to validate their training.

Be careful, this work does not correspond to any thesis. Therefore :
– The subject is free, but it is always possible to choose a subject that has already been covered,- No deadline other than to be certified,- No specific research director (although stakeholders can be approached for guidance or methodological advice),
In case of insufficiency, the work will have to be resumed according to the indications of the pedagogical director,
The copy presented will remain at the Faculty for archiving and consultation.

A methodological sheet appears at the end of the list of dissertation topics.
Students who do not wish to produce a dissertation will not be eligible for any certification. However, a certificate of attendance can be given to him/her upon request.

Hot and cold evaluations

In accordance with the regulations, the training allows its students to express themselves and give their opinion on the conduct of the courses and administrative follow-up by means of two separate evaluations :

  • Hot evaluation. This one-page form allows you to give your opinion on a particular course: welcome, teacher's pedagogy, quality of the course material, adequacy with the program and general interest. To be consulted in our welcome booklet.

  • Cold evaluation. This multi-page form is used to report on the student's entire experience throughout the course, from registration to certification. To be consulted in our welcome booklet.

Our evaluations are taken very seriously and lay the foundation for a process of constant improvement in the overall and individual pedagogy of our trainers. Although experienced, our trainers are under constant supervision which year after year pushes us to excel in both theoretical and practical teaching methods. After each examination session, under the guidance of the pedagogical director, the analysis of the results, discipline by discipline, allows us to put the cursor back on more professionalism and rigour.

Internship agreement

If the student wishes to follow an internship during his/her training, the Faculty will send him/her an internship agreement.

The training is intended for prosthesis professionals who, after 3 years of additional study, acquire the skills necessary for the practice of the profession of denturist.

After passing the exams, they receive the diploma of denturist (the subjects related to what a health worker should be are taught by doctors and graduates in chemistry and physics).

The denturist's diploma is based on international standards and is recognised by the I.F.D.

The graduate will be able to practice in countries that recognize this profession in accordance with their requirements.

To date the profession is not recognized in France.
